Examination of Plates for Wolf's Variables in the Nebula of Orion cont.

Plate 19335, Oct. 22, 1897 Exp. 17
Compared with B 8891

[[underlined]] 80 [[/underlined]] No variation in reg. Faintest stars not seen

[[underlined]] 81 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 82 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 83 [[/underlined]] Suspected star bright, though stars which are brighter on B8891 are scarcely seen

[[underlined]] 84 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 85 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 86 [[/underlined]] The star in this pos. seen on B8891 is not present, though the fainter star near it is plainly seen

[[underlined]] 87 [[/underlined]] No variation seen - Faintest stars not seen

[[underlined]] 88 [[/underlined]] No variation seen - Faintest stars not seen

[[underlined]] 89 [[/underlined]] No variation seen - Faintest stars not seen

As B8891 is slightly fogged the regions covered conveniently br studied by superposition. Plates I1935 and I24349 have, however, been superposed with no further results

Exam. for Wolf's Variables in Orion cont.

Plate B26570, Nov. 13, 1900 Exp. 10 m

[[underlined]]80[[/underlined]] A rather hazy image on B8891 does not appear on this plate, though a star image apparently fainter on B8891 is clearly seen. Images too poor for me to be certain. Plates so far examined have not shown stars sufficiently faint for comparison.

[[underlined]] 81 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 82 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 83 [[/underlined]] Susp. star faint. This star seems certainly to be identified and confirmed

[[underlined]] 84 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 85 [[/underlined]] No variation seen

[[underlined]] 86 [[/underlined]]

[[underlined]] 87 [[/underlined]] Suspected star n.s. No sufficiently faint stars shown unless it was much brighter than on B8891

[[underlined]] 88 [[/underlined]] No variation seen. Faint star not seen. Near edge

[[underlined]] 89 [[/underlined]] No variation seen. Faint star not seen. Near edge

Plate B 14677 Sept. 19, 1895
[[underline]] 83 [[/underline]] seen bright
Other regions do not show sufficiently bright stars to make close comparisons advisable. Rapid survey by means of superposition shows that no stars of those seen are noticeably brighter or fainter.
