This morning before breakfast I heard a Spotted Sandpiper The first of the year.

After breakfast Art Rudy and I went down the track fishing. It

Vecks marsh I heard a Brown Thrasher sing. There were a pair of Spotted Sandpipers around a pool of water. They were quite tame. They would wade out in get some insect and then run back to shore.

Went clear down to the flume. In Rocky Cut saw a Robin's nest under a ledge of rock.

At the flume I saw a Catbird drink. It drank like a chicken.

Several Cliff swallows flew over giving the creaking note.
