Hemlock Bluff 10.10 A.M.

Nov. 30, 1901
In the cave at the Hemlock Bluffs Art Rudy and I found a number of Junco [[marginalia]] description [[/marginalia]] tracks. They were clearly defined in the sand and as far as I could tell they had never walked. Juncoes were quite common. They always seem to feed around such sheltered place. Also they got sand here [[marginalia]] size [[/marginalia]] probably. They were as big as English Sparrow tracks.

1:10 P.M.
A number of Juncoes were feeding d on the weeds in a corn field. They flew in the bush when we came and hopped along before us going through brushpiles like mice. They were quite tame.
