Crouchs quarry In Baraboo 4:45 P.M. Feb. 17, 1902 Tonight after school I was up above the stone quarry near the Water Works dam. [[marginalia]] roosting place [[/marginalia]] I was going along when a Bluejay flew out of a clump of oak leaves about 10 feet away. It was an hour to sundown yet. This is a warm protected place and seems to be a favorite with many species.
