Corner of Oak and 6th st. In Baraboo  1:10 P.M.

Feb. 24, 1902
This noon when I was going to school I saw a Chicadee and watched it a little.  
[[marginalia]] notes [[/marginalia]]  It seemed to be calling to its mate and gave notes like [[underlined]] tsee see see see see her [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] tsits-le [[/underlined]] with sometimes a faint r sound on the [[underlined]] h [[/underlined]] of the last note. 
[[marginalia]] use [[/marginalia]] The first note was given with a faint quiver of the wings and was evidently a love note.  The second was a kind of a song note.
