This morning Art Rudy and I went down in the fields and around by the Hemlocks. Below the Hemlocks some Juncos and Tree Sparrows were feeding separately on the north side of the river. They flew across into the brush. After some difficulty on account of thin[[strikethrough]]k[[/strikethrough]] ice along the edge we followed. I shot and got three to my surprise.
