wis. maxilla brown, sides of mandible bluish slate. rest dull yellowish white. tarsus brownish white (skin). Length 6 1/2 wing 3. tail measured from skin 2 7/8 [[female symbol]] ad. given to me by A.B. Stout. 

This morning we went up to Skavlem's point. Mr. Skavlems gave me a Sanderling shot the year before near the house. Its mate was mounted. 

We saw some more Lesser Scaup Ducks out in the lake but did not pursue them.

Stout gave me a female Dickcissel as I had not secured one. This was our last day.

June 25 Saturday.

The descriptions of these birds was lost so I made this out from the skins. 

The Grosbeak sat high up in a tree and it took me nearly ten minutes to locate it. 

June 27, Monday.
