and scared up five Ducks (Scaup Duck?), but did not get any. earlier in the day I also saw about a dozen Mallard come from the same pond. A Bittern flew up with a number of harsh [[underline]] qwks [[/underline]] and I saw a Pied-billed Grebe once. It dove and came up among the rushes. Here I shot a Bank Swallow the only one that I could say with certainty that I saw it in the state. I have until this summer always confused them with the Rough-winged Swallow. Barn,Cliff,Rough-winged & Bank Swallows were flying around this pond. We got home about six oclock.
