This morning after breakfast I went down in the fields. The Vesper Sparrows were to be found in the buckwheat fields. I scared a bunch out down by Vail's. They flew over and lit along a fence and sat there until I came quite near. fifteen minutes later they were still there although I had shot one.
Saw a number of Palm Warblers and shot two. They were seen out in the fields and in the thinner woods.
