July 12, 1935.

Mr. Leon Loeb,
c/o Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Co., Inc.,
3 East 51st Street,
New York.

My dear Mr. Loeb:

Your letter of July 1, addressed to the President of Paramount Films, New York, has been referred to me, and in reply beg to advise that we have our own building in Paris, located at No. 1, Rue Meyerbeer. This building houses the Paramount Theatre, and also the head offices of our French distribution, theatre and production companies.

Therefore, we are not in a position to consider your proposition to acquire show-room and office space in your building in Paris.

Very truly yours,
^[[John Hicks Jr.]]
