Ring-bill, May 18, 1955,
II.

Should stress how much the Fr and Ch are linked. Fr often like Ch. int. mov. At high intensities, the scale of relative aggressiveness certainly seems to be Ch [[right arrow symbol]] Fr [[right arrow symbol]] P.

General and violent attack on Herring Gull, presumably stealing eggs. All sorts of displaying 6:15.

LCN posture in air.

Certainly U, HD, Fr, and Ch, can all occur with widely spread wings - straight out, tips dragging on ground.

Most interspecific P's are definitely sans R. Does this mean that the R indicates a relatively high escape drive? I think it may. Not too high, however, (as not found with any U.)

Tail may be above wings in any threat posture, but it is never raised above the main line of the body, (with the probable exception of some choking).

Angle of extreme ch.
