June 3 VI
!!as before No sign of Ch. either time. Then, one T after second
feeding,♂ starts cop call, jumps on ♀. He immediately goes
!!into view-H, raises tail. He however just sits stops
cop call, folds wings, starts T again. Finally starts, and then,
has an apparently successful cop. (close in contact 3 or 4 times).
!!Once, during lull, ♀ PAT. ♂ slips off. M.C. of U-HF by both.
Then both start to pick up things frantically Twice this NB is
!!attempted by ch. Quite defiant. Couldn't see that it was
directed at any third bird(s). Then temporary relaxation 10:36
When I look back, one of them has gone. The other appearing relaxed.

Ch. might be described as a ♂ FC in AC rhythm, but probably can
just be described as "ruffled" AC;
♂ N back. No real M.C. Bother start PAT, one bout Ch., then
some T's. 10"48. Again just the same. Again. Quiet treqec'est?[sp?]

Seems to be some confusion. This returning N pair must be
N2. They leave the place where they have been. Fly a few feet
away to what seems to be a procreative seat site. Much PAT,
collective "oooah"ing, and Ch. Oceas T. ♂ once reappears.
Then a third bird appears attacks the ♀N2 escapes unceed
of ♂ N and ♂N2 fight furiously. All AC display by both
N2 escapes, flies to other side of hide, to another man of floating seeds. Followed by ♀. Both singing "oooah"s, Ch,
and NB. Then relax

Pete coming 11:00am

Arrive back 6:30pm. Put myself in hide. Shift one
next, hoping to provoke dispute
Gulls settle nearby, except for birds right beside hide, but
all are nervous
Calming down 6:36, but one bird have come back to
next
