Interesting, MC at territory of unmated or coocely mated ♂. Point of interest was that ♀ stood on L diagonal, uttering constant ooooooah's and repeating HF. Then up, OL-T, U-HF, attacks ♀ 7:46 She flys off, he follows

My my. There has bee a ♂, N3, near my blind all evening. Doug G.C's at pass by I look up to see a bird on the ground, another bird coudling behind it. Newcomer does U-HF-U-HF-U ect. Oldcomer does OL- then stays in OL uttering "ooooah", (bill lowered or almost lowered) with HF's. Then newcomer attacks oldcomer and I think oldcomer flys away. Remaining bird stands in U, uttering alarm calls for awhile. Was this the case of one male taking the place of another? Should mention that newcomer was smaller than oldcomer. Looks almost ♀.

Newcomer then does lot of G.C's. (Skull voice) Picks up twig in the midst of one G.C then flies away 7:57

♂ joins ♀ U. ♀ nothing

"Ooooah" during feeding is also with bill closed, except when food actually comes up.
