Arrive 2:05 Warm. Slight Wind. Occasional cloud Birds very very shy indeed. 

[[left margin]] !! [[/left margin]] One bird, long dispute (ia 2 min.) with neighbor.  The less aggressive of the two birds, the one that was twice attacked, gave CC before being attacked, then , after attack, definite choking, the most prolonged that I have seen. No sign of mate being present. Is choking been less aggressive than CC. (Ch after being attacked.) AC before attack.

Sunday July 4

Arrive second small island colony 2:30 pm. Sunny, moderate T [[degree symbol]], slight northerly wind. 

Blind put up July 2. Gulls still very shy. Reluctant to come down.

Distant birds down 2:36.

5 young birds together. Apparently on communal preening station (looks like large, old, nest). No apparent hostility.

Nearer birds come back 2:45

Vigorous fight between two chicks, white under feathers visible. No postures. Bill wide open. Call?
