Franklin's June 5, 1955 II [[image]] Typical? extreme form of T (after OL) Very short necked If the typical Glik sound can be rendered as "Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka-Ka.....", the apparently lower intensity Glik can be transcribed as "Ka-a Ka-a Ka-a....". Lowest intensity is single "Ka-a" note. This latter is probably in reality, an interrupted series of "Ka-a" notes 4:45pm. "Ka-a" note seems to be transitional to LCN. Two nearby nests seem to be deserted. One back 5:00 Crown feathers during O are sleek. Black extends further down the neck than in my drawings. Very dull now 5:20 Notice Glik is accompanied by definite down and up movement [[image]] --> [[image]] --> back up and repeat Looks rather like PAG intention movement. Post-cop n.a.d. female flies away, male remains 5:55 Toward flying birds, by incubating birds on their partners.
