37th day JULY 25th Notice older bird, when picked up and placed in Lab by himself, became very "nervous," did several general shakes which may have been more than coincidence. More about HB. When with whistle, as it often is, sound is in upbeat. When with h.i.D.C. sound may be on either upbeat or downbeat. This is true of both old bird and younger birds HB often replaced by simple calling in Erect. By both older and younger birds Becoming more & more struck with the fact that the Juv. Glik - HDH patterns of the younger Ring-bills are very much the same as those of the Franklin's. Noticed this a week ago. R of older bird seems to occur with the same patterns as the R of the Franklin's.
