Arrive colony 11:55. Clear. Warm. Little Wind. Lots of young gulls flying very well.

One young lands 12:05. Others flying about with juv. h.i. D.C. One lands beside the other Mutual Greeting: one or two h.i. DC. notes, from H, followed by whistles, from H, with trace of T.

Flying birds uttering h.i. D.C. quite frequently.

Young gulls ignoring young coot on platform with them.

Quite a number of young coming back now 12:22

Very dull. The young are doing almost nothing. No trace of adults in colony All the "unmated" adults seem to be gone.
