Looking very short and "chunky."

Barro Colorado

Looking for the Yellow rumps around clearing at dawn. They do not show up early. (I remember when I looked for them at dawn a couple of weeks ago they did not show up early either. Obviously, sleep some distance from the area they usually inhabit during the day.)

Female appears 6:42. Uttering NNs. Feeding. With lots of flicking movements. Disappears again almost immediately.

Back again 6:49. Still uttering, NN's. Lots of them. Male not visible or audible. Female flies off again almost immediately. Down the hill. Lose her.

Get brief glimpse of male, feeding, 7:00 a.m. Gone again immediately.
