Ramphocelus, Mar. 10, 1962 I 119 my window! The female was sitting perched on a branch. The male suddenly flew up and landed beside her. Uttering ΦR as he did so. Then stood with Back R (continuing ΦR) facing her. The female responded by assuming a pre-cop posture. Slight BU and TU, but no raising or spreading of wings or Q. The male then stopped, turned away from the female, and did 1 or 2 BW's. The female continued BU & TU for a few seconds after the male turned away, then stopped. Then the female flew away and the male followed. As far as I could tell, the female was silent throughout this performance.
