Ramphocelus, Mar. 25, 1962, II

the (?)'s without (?)R's. Sometimes alternation 1 of these 2 (?) without (?)R's. More often PN's relatively less common. Scattered apparently at random. Same bird also occasionally utters doublet NN. This doublet NN typical in sound except that it is very much softer than usual.

I think these (?)'s without (?) R may be identical (underlined) with what I called the loud, hoarse, buzzy type of PN before.
This Dawn Calling of (?)'s without (?)R already beginning to break up, interrupted by pauses and notes of other types 6:10 a.m. !!!

Identify A himself. Uttering (?)'s without (?)R and soft PN's in regular alternation. "Kheezoo, Klioo kheezoo khoo kheezoo khoo....." In very erect posture (?) Back R in special wing or tail movements.

Then, 6:15, A starts to hop and fly from perch to perch. Utters jumble notes each perch. NN's & complete (?)'s as well as PN's and (?)'s without (?)R. In much less erect postures.
