ritualized per se only because the various constituent components tend to occur in a rigid order.

1 ♂ and 2 ♀s or juvs feeding apparently peacefully in tree. Then all fly off. Start silently and with normal flight 8:30. Then ♂ suddenly accelerates and starts to chase one of the ♀s or juvs. With long R. Looked almost pounce-like. Does this species have a ritualized "Pounce" pattern??

Is this genus particularly reminiscent of the Emberizidae?

Arrive A area 5:50 a.m. Birds still silent.
  
Hear first sounds 5:56. A couple of TssN's! Then birds silent again for a while.
  
First Dawn Calling heard 6:00 a.m. "Kheezoo" Notes. Interspersed with very occasional doublet or single NN's. The first bird heard Dawn Calling is not A First Dawn Calling Notes  are somewhat soft. Become louder by 6:05 a.m. Also begin to be interrupted by soft "Kioo" PN's as well as NN's.
  
Walking around area 6:10 a.m. There are at least 4 or 5 Yellow-rumps Dawn Calling in area now. All Dawn Calling largely composed of "Kheezoo" Notes, with or without addition of other notes.
  
Dawn Calling starts to die down again within a couple of minutes. Birds presumably going to feed.
  
Copulation 6:16 am. ♂ flies to tree in which ♀ is. I don't see her at first. ♂ lands on branch 10 ft above her. Then flies straight
