COMMENTS:
^[[Cy]] I. This is (yet) another area where Cys seem to be conspicuous in mixed flocks.

^[[Cinn VIII]] II. I was very interested to see two of the local hummingbirds, the Cinnamon species and a green one (VII and VIII - possibly different sexes of the same species) feeding ([[underlined]] very [[/underlined]] frequently) on the cup-shaped dark red flowers which were favored by the Cys of the eastern cordillera. It will be even more interesting to see if these hummingbirds ever dispute with Cys. In any case, it seems obvious that these hummingbirds are taking nectar which would otherwise be available to Cys!

^[[Cy Ater? Laf?]] III. I certainly heard Cys singing this morning. And I think I heard both [[Aters?]] and Lafs singing. But there were no overlaps between Songs different species. And, as far as I could tell, different species never sang from exactly the same area(s).
