^[[Scan Ater 215]] Scan still Singing quite steadily 6:28. Then Ater ^[[checkmark]] appears usual Song perch. Just sits there silently while Scan continues to Sing. Then Scan stops; for a second. [[underlined]] Immediately [[/underlined]] Ater utters 1 Song phrase. Then Scan resumes Singing. But Ater continues also. Utters several phrases. Complete overlaps. Ater shuts up. Scan continues. Shuts up.

It is turning cold and windy now 6:33

^[[Scan Ater 216]] Scan Singing again. Then Ater ^[[checkmark]] flies up to usual Song perch. Sits there for some minutes, quite [[underlined]] silently [[/underlined]], while Scan continues Singing. Then flies down into scrub.

Going to move on down road 6:40 am.

Lots of Scans still Singing all over the place 6:46

^[[Scan]] 7:00 Wind is so strong now that all the Aters seem to have taken cover. But Scans are still vocalizing and displaying vigorously. Then I hear Whitestart utter two Song phrases, separately, [[underlined]] just [[/underlined]] in intervals when Scans are silent. [[underlined]] Again. [[/underlined]] This time, the Whitestart began while Scan was still Singing. But Scan shut up [[underlined]] immediately. [[/underlined]] Little overlap. Then Whitestart shut up. [[underlined]] Scan resumed Singing immediately. [[/underlined]]

^[[Ater Scan 217]] 7:15 Come to area of almost garden-like scrub near small pasture  See single ^[[checkmark]] Ater alone. Feeding usual white flowers. Utters 1 Song phrase, when everything else is silent. Then flies off. Then Scan starts Singing nearby.

Wind better, and it is getting warmer, 7:35.

Everything except Scans very quiet now.

^[[Ater 219]] 7:50. Reach area where CC - [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] flock seen everyday. See 2 ^[[two checkmarks]] Aters flitting about. Lots of R's, with more or less distinct terminal Zaza's.
