Mixed Diglossini, Aug. 15, 1967, X 19 [[margin]] Albi [[/margin]] gest that male and female Albis here have separate (altho possibly partly overlapping) territories. 5:07 pm. See a little hummingbird of another species in scrub only a few feet from where Albi-Scan fight occurred all over. Generally golden green all over, with white spot behind eye. Bill straight and moderately long. Eriocnemus sp.? In any case I shall call it XXII. Moving on to other spots 5:10 pm. [[margin]] Scan [[/margin]] Back to Scan-Albi area 5:30. Scan still Singing. NODWAH. Everything else (except frogs) dead quiet. (Note There are hunters around here this afternoon. Which probably isn't helping me very much.) Scan falls quiet 5:35 pm.
