gest that male and female Albis here have separate (altho possibly partly overlapping) territories.

5:07 pm. See a little hummingbird of another species in scrub only a few feet from where Albi-Scan fight occurred  all over. Generally golden green all over, with white spot behind eye. Bill straight and moderately long. Eriocnemus sp.? In any case I shall call it XXII.

Moving on to other spots 5:10 pm.

Back to Scan-Albi area 5:30. Scan still Singing. NODWAH. Everything else (except frogs) dead quiet.

(Note There are hunters around here this afternoon.  Which probably isn't helping me very much.)

Santa Marta Region

Going to work along "highway" again this morning. In area where Nocti observed yesterday. Arrive 5:18 am. Clear, calm. Just starting to get light.

First miscellaneous bird sounds, downhill, 5:20  Then thrushes begin to sing downhill.

Hear what seems to be R - "Zazaza" uphill 5:28 am.

Otherwise, everything is very quiet up here this morning  No Song at all at 5:35

8:34. See 2 small dark birds chasing one another
