[] Black []
thru low ✓✓63 fern scrub just above road. With long R's. (But no "Zaza". Obviously Diglossa. But I can't tell which species.
Then hear Whitestart-CXXVII Song downhill. NODWAH. One phrase. Stops.

[] Nocti []
5:41. Nocti Sings. Same place yesterday. Lots of R toward end of each phrase. NODWAH. Then the bird ✓64 ranges over a wide area, Singing from several small bushes in turn. Songs are even more irregular than yesterday. Also usually very brief. All NODWAH Then bird flies downhill. Sings in taller lusher scrub (where flock was yesterday). This individual certainly has a very large territory!!! Then it flies back uphill. I get a very good view of it. (Again) identification definite.

[] Nocti Albi Gen []

NOTE: Looking uphill, in Nocti territory, see some rose-red flowers of same species which Diglossas favor in other parts of the Andes.

[] Albi []
5:56 am. Hear another Albi type R downhill. NODWAH

6:01 am. Whitestart CXXVII Sings. NODWAH. Then hear Albi-type R. Completely overlapped by Whitestart. Then Whitestart Stops. More Albi-type R's. NODWAH

[] Nocti[]
So mutual inhibition is not perfect.

6:07. See Nocti downhill in lusher scrub again. Also hear more Whitestart CXXVII Song. NODWAH

[] Nocti Albi []
6:14 Well! See single 65 ♂ Albi moving uphill thru center of Nocti territory! Calm and quiet. Certainly not being
