7:00 a.m. Can hear several Glors singing in another place, in the province of Táchira. 9000 ft. Similar vegetation.

9:25. Remarkable! At 8475 ft here, in Táchira, where slightly lusher forest begins, there seem to be no Glors, and I can hear an Albi in distance!

10:15 8600 ft. Back in province of Mérida. See two Glors feeding, on flowers, in much the same vegetation as before. (Slightly lusher, but only very slightly).

At same place, hear something that sounds like Albi; Then see still another Glor.

11:00 a.m. 9050 ft. In a new place, much more humid than the others (although it is still quite low). Hear and see an adult ♂ Albi singing "Sraaaaaaaaaa" type.
