Absolutely nothing seems to be breeding in the area where I worked this morning.

II. Around the hotel. It does seem to be probable that the three local "diglossines" here are sorting themselves out in much the same way as the Quito [[fo?s]] - although the separation here may be somewhat less perfect than at Quito. 

According to my altimeter (which is both uncorrected and unadjusted for local conditions), the altitude here is approximately 5450 ft.

Pico Espejo

Arrive Teleferico #2 7:45 am. Arrive Diglossa area a hundred feet below station 7:50 am. Clear. According to my altimeter this is just below 10,900 ft.

Catch a brief glimpse of a single Glor ✓✓✓ (13) perched on bush. About 5 ft. above ground.
Tamarinds, fly catchers, and Catamenia uttering some songs at first. But shut up by 8:00 am

8:08. See a Diglossa, probably Glor ✓✓✓ (14), fly by. 

Fog starting to come in. But there is bright sun in intervals between fog patches

Further down hill see another Glor ✓✓✓ (15) in flight from bush to bush. Quite silent and alone
Sun is now, 8:30, very bright and hot
