and the comparable relationships near Chachapoyas 
(1) Lafresnayii s.l. is rare in both places.
(2) Carbonaria s.l. comes into contact with baritula s.l.
(3)Cyanea and coerulescens come into contact with one another.

(4) XCC is (probably) present in both areas.
(5) The resemblance is increased if one presumes that the BQ here and the CC in Chachapoyas are partly equivalent ecologically.

Start working across highway from usual spot 6:20 am. Still not quite light.

There certainly are a lot of BQ's around here foraging. (As far as I can tell, all singing individuals are alone at the time.)

There is a C. coruscans feeding intensively on an Erythrina here.

One BQ uttering phrases "Ta-ta-zuh ta-ta-zuh ta-ta-zuh" "Zuh" notes hoarse. Single phrases of this type not arranged in double ts or triplets (altho each phrase itself includes repetitious identical components).

See another juv. BQ around in the neighborhood. Juvs of this species seem to be quite common at this time of the year.

One BQ continues to sing undisturbed, altho there is a C. coruscans feeding only 3-6 ft away.
