So, in this same part of the same tree, I have seen 4 species within 10 minutes. Cys, Rufs, Coers, Humer, and Cys again. All except Rufs sing here. All except Humer feed here, all apparently on insects.

[] Cy Coer Gen []
Songs of Cys, Coers & PR Atlapetes are quite remarkably similar in quality. Not sure that I could tell brief single phrases of the three species apart.

8:35am. Pair of Cys back in same tree again. Singing and feeding.

[] Gen []
All the Diglossini in this tree have been 10-20 ft above ground. There are also several species of both hummingbirds and warblers (B. nigrocristatus and northern migrants) feeding in same parts of same tree from time to time. Apparently also on insects.

[] Laf []
Hear some "Laf" songs not far from same spot 8:45. "Lafs" seem to be rare around here. Possibly because vegetation is relatively high scrub, with lots of bamboo, blackberries, etc.., possibly second growth.
