5:55am. See Cy fly into tangle. Apparently landing beside another bird. One of the birds utters R as it lands!

Then hear Cy type song some distance away.

The Cy I saw had typical plumage + red eyes. But seemed quite chunky in shape. Is this characteristic of local population?

The Cy uttered "Seeet"s in flight and while hopping thru tangle.

Hear more Albi-type songs 6:15 am. 7750 ft.
But area is generally quiet. Much quieter than above Bogota. 
6:17. Something around here singing more or less like "Laf".

7:30. Nothing! This whole area must have been wet forest, once; but it has been logged. Still lots of small trees, tree-ferns, vines, thickets. Also quite a lot of small tubular red flowers. Rather surprising that Diglossini are not more common.

7:45 Finally see what is almost certainly a pair of Albis. Silent. Look relatively very small. Feeding, probably on small tubular red flowers, about 30 ft. above ground, in tangle. In relatively open area 7700 ft.

8:55 Hear several Albi type songs and see Cy feeding silently, in almost same spot. 7525 ft. Fairly open area near road.

All the species of Diglossini may be so rare in this area that they hardly compete with one another. They may not even have to take pains to avoid one another - most of the time. Still so far as my observations go, the inter-specific relations among the
