Mixed Diglossini, Apr. 23, 1965, IV

Firebellies quite noisy now, 6:33. Song, "chatter," "Seeet" Notes. All overlapping PL Whistle Songs.

[] Cy Laf []
Flock is a little bit beyond Laf-Cy area now. Laf and Cys don't seem to have followed it. CORRECTION: Cy(s) may be following. Now hear Cy songs nearby. 6:36. Cy(s) shut(s) up. Then hear brief Laf Song in distance.

[] Ruf 61 Laf []
Now see that flock also includes at least 1 Ruf ✓. Silent. Flitting about in vicinity of Firebellies (Firebellies are quite widely separated now.) Also 1 Laf In vicinity Ruf & Firebellies. Laf Sings. (No Cy sounds audible at the time.) 6:41.

[] 62 63 []
Also one White-bearded Flycatcher ✓ near flock. Also one Spinetail ✓. Flycatcher silent. Spinetail occasionally noisy.

[] Cy []
Back to original Laf-Cy area. Cy still alternating Songs with PL. Laf around but quite silent.

[] Cy X 65 80 []
Cy j -----> PL. Then flies ✓ away. PL's ✓✓ do not follow.
Cy has real fight with small bronzy-green hummingbird ✓. Flock going downhill now 6:50 am. PL's apparently still in lead. Firebellies seem to remain approx. 20 ft behind PL's, presumably following.
Hear PL Whistle Songs and Laf Song overlapping broadly!

[] Coer 82 Laf []
6:55. See Coer ✓ in distance. Only about 15 ft from Laf ✓. Also quite close to where PL Songs are coming from. This Coer may have inserted one Cy-like song phrase PL Songs.
[] Coer Laf []
In any case, the Coer ✓ flies away almost immediately. Laf flies in opposite direction.

Flock seems to have gone completely. 7:00 am. Sun up. Getting warm. Everything quiet.

Going downhill myself.

*Do you think she just wrote over the pencil check with a green pencil to highlight it later? I think it is just really one check since she says one. YES
