4:35 pm. See single Black Diglossa, almost certainly Humer, feeding alone in Red Abu tree.

Hear Scans not far off. 

[[left margin]] aterrima? [[/left margin]] 
4:48. See what may be same Black Diglossa in same Abu. Definitely not Albi. But looks all black! Little or nothing in the way of humeral patches. Some of the Humers here seem to intergrade with aterrima.

Working the same general area this morning as yesterday morning.

Working on Guaddelupe this afternoon. The lower place where I worked in 1962. Arrive 3:12 pm. Cloudy but no rain or fog.

3:15. See single Black Diglossa flitting three low ✓✓✓ [[pencil, black ink, red pencil checks]] scrub. Alone. 
3:22. Hear R-Zaza. Followed immediately by soft Laf-type song in same area! 

[[left margin]] Laf 25 [[black ink]], 114 [[red pencil]] [[/left margin]] 
3:52. See what looks like pair Lafs ✓✓✓✓✓✓ [[2 pencil, 2 black ink, 2 red pencil]] in scrub. Silent + alone. 
Then hear Laf singing in distance.

4:05. See another pair either Lafs ✓✓✓✓✓✓ [[2 pencil, 2 black ink, 2 red pencil]] or Humers feeding alone in scrub. Feeding on short pink tubular flowers.

Lafs are singing quite frequently now 4:10 pm. One laf, singing strongly, stops immediately when a Firebelly sings. Then starts again [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] without Firebelly stops. Are the Lafs here particularly likely to
