Mr Fontenelle went back to the Reserve with the Poncas, and I return-ed to Arkansas City. [¶] I travel-ed two days with one band of the Poncas, three chiefs, White Eagle, Gahega and Michell, were with them, and had a good opportu-nity to learn their wishes and desires, and I was led by this intercourse to the following conclusions:
