RML:R April 1st, 1938 Dear Mr. Stendahl: I am sorry that I missed you when last I was in Los Angeles, although I was only there for a very short time. No doubt Mrs. Stendahl told you of my visit, and the fact that I was trying to send in Mr. Nast who might be interested in the Opie. Did he ever come in? If not, I am afraid there is nothing to do and unless you have something very specific for this picture as well as the two Braques, I would be grateful to you if you would return these three pictures as soon as it is conveniently possible. I hope you are finding business more active in the West than we find it here in the East. With best wishes, I am Yours very sincerely, (Robert M. Levy) Earl Stendahl, Esq. 3006 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, California
