Jolic Island [[?Barday]] - Universal Gazetteer and Geographical Dictionary (1946) has Jobic - an island in the Pacific, on the N. of New Guinea. Lat 1.36 to 2 S. Long 135.50 to 137.36E Also referenced as Jobia Island (Japen) see http://www.anbg.gov.au/abrs/online-resources/flora/stddisplay.xsql?pnid=56852 It looks like "Barclay" may be the collector. One old issue of the London Journal of Botany, vol. 4, 1845 (https://goo.gl/h6eqoN), mentions a fern collected by Barclay on the "Island of Jobia" in the context of a description of a new genus of southeast Asian ferns. This corroborates the idea that this specimen was collected on Japen Island north of New Guinea. -@mnathan
