13th June 1974.

Dear Germain,

We have not heard from you for a long time and hope that all is well with Ethlyne and you. I wonder whether you intend coming to Europe this year, we had hoped to hear from you from Paris.

There is very little to report from here. Works of Art have almost disappeared. There are any amount of catalogues and our arms are lame from carrying them.

What you miss here is small exhibition at the V.&A. of English early Ivories. You probably know most of them but it is nice to see them together.

We should very much like to have a short line from you, we miss your company and your communications.

With our best regards and wishes to Ethlyne and you,

Yours,
