[[underlined]]Distribution of duplicates.[[/underlined]] The invoice sheets of several [[strikethrough]]of several[[/strikethrough]] of the collections sent out during the year having been mislaid, it is impossible at the present time to give a complete statement of the distribution of duplicates. The total number of specimens distributed, as far as accounted for by invoices on file is as follows :--

Skins | 892 specimens, 597 species.
Eggs | 123* "[[ditto for specimens]] , 90 "[[ditto for species.]]

* The actual number of specimens of eggs is of course much greater (two or three times the above number), a single catalogue number often including a full set of 3-5 eggs, and sometimes the nest also.
