The number of specimens mounted for the exhibition series is 39.

Since my last report, 20 quater-unit tables, with suitable glass-topped drawers, have been put in position in the top room of the South tower, and the work of transporting the Neotropical birds well begun.

Thirteen galleys of proof of Dr. Stejneger's paper on the classification of the Turdidae have been corrected, also page-revise of the same.
