[[underlined]]Escorial[[/underlined]] Speially interesting are the [[underlined]]small[[/underlined]] photos of the illustrated books. dated from 900 to 1500 - some Moorish & Persian. Some can photo pretty well. Miniatures in all styles. 
Very interesting are drawings in Hall of Battles many of Battle of Higueruela 1431
by Granelo & Fabricio, Gerard Van Eyck style
Frescos of Peregrine Tibaldi are good
ivory carving of 13th C. good
Most ptgs very poor - Giordano & Tintoretto
