This jade Chow Pi was excavated from the earth by a farmer of the An Hsi district, Chekiang, some ten years ago and was immediately procured by the late Viceroy Tuan Fang.

It is of dark green color and a perfect piece of jade throughout.

This jade Pi is of pure green substance, engraved with lines of gold coin and other Chinese felicitous emblems--the workmanship is unimitable today.

This was presented by satraps to their Emperor in time of Chows as valuable tribute. This was excavated at Sianfu, Shensi and also procured by the late Viceroy Tuan Fang
