Porcelain Jar

This porcelain jar was manufactured in the Sung dynasty by the Chang Teh Fu Factory, Honan. The quality is strong but fine; glaze elegant and richly decorated with flowers. The jar was covered wit ha coat of mud stains, due to long contact with  earth underground.

Very few porcelain articles in the Sung dynasty possess such fine quality as this.

Porcelain Vase
h. 13" in. diametre 5.8" in.

This was a product of the Chang Teh Fu Pottery, Honan. The glaze is of pure white. The decorations were done in details. It is also of irregular shape-- a fine specimen of ancient porcelain.
