This pot was fabricated at the Chang Teh Fu Factory, Honan. The quality of porcelain is strong but fine; of a shape distinct from similar porcelain ware. It was used by ancients as a wine pot.

The pot has a lid to match.

Sung Five-Colored Brush Washing Vessel

This porcelain product of the Sung dynasty was fabricated at Kian Fu, Kiangsi. The body is of fine paste and the glaze is white and clear. Being decorated with fine colors, although in long contact with the earth, the brilliance of the ware is still discernible; having also no defects of any sort.
