About the Project

Zhang Chun Hong discusses her work in "Portraiture Now: Asian American Portraits of Encounter." Hong Zhang (as she is known in the United States) is a Chinese-born artist living and working in this country whose work combines traditional skills with contemporary ideas. Recorded at NPG, September 16, 2011. Interview by Jasmine Fernandez, intern, Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program.
