[[underlined]] July 2 [[/underlined]] Sunday, Found 3 Microdipodops & one Lepus idahoensis in the traps, besides some Perognathus, Tamias & Sitomys.

[[underlined]] July 3 [[/underlined]] Got 4 Microdipodops & a young L. idahoensis & caught 3 of the big Thomomes.
Finished & send my Pyramid Lake report.

[[underlined]] July 4 [[/underlined]] Caught 2 Microdipodops and 2 Lepus idahoensis and 9 Perognathus & [[strikethrough]] 3 [[/strikethrough]] no Thomomys. Made up 15 skins and 2 skulls & one bird. Packed a box of specimens. Packed my things, took up traps and left halleck at 7:42 P.M. Found I would have to take two days for the trip to the Mts. so gave it up.

[[underlined]] July 5 [[/underlined]] Reached Ogden in morning. Got no mail of account. Looked over wagons and inquired about horses. Went down to Farmington and staid the rest of the day. Went up the Mts. back to Farmington but found [[strikethrough]] T [[/strikethrough]] no Tamias.
