Area near road excellent birding because of road - bldg raising road - resulting in standing H2O.

After dusk, little seen except caiman, nightjar, capybara, night heron.

At dusk we saw 3 single marsh deer.

Cebus apella: troop of 5-6

Bkfst at 0900.
Cold shower.
Out in bus for bird tour.
Saw lots of herons, spoonbill with broken wing, caiman, lots of capybara (mostly singletons).

Rio São Laurenzo.
After lunch boat trip down river until each boat broke down & we decided to go back.
Lots of anhingas, cormorants, one troop of about 5-6 Cebus apella near bank.
The banks are full
