Cantacuzene and I left our luncheon meeting with the impression that, subject to your further study, you were inclined to advise Dr. Ripley that this proposal be presented to the Regents with a favorable recommendation. It will certainly be to the advantage of both institutions that a clear, simple and conclusive agreement be reached, to bind both parties and thus eliminate any future claims or even misgivings or second thoughts.
