Barney Studio House

Present home of a portion of the Alice Pike Barney collection, the Barney Studio House was designed in 1904 by Washington architect Waddy B. Wood in the then fashionable "mission" style. It possesses one of the finest preserved interiors of its period in the Nation's Capital. Currently, it is used by the National Collection of Fine Arts and the Office of American Studies.
