Survey of the Month

On July 1st Aunt Fanny sold Venus, because she was going dry and did not calve; and the next day Aunt Fanny and Mr. Archer went off with the carriage to look for another cow. They came home late in the evening with a holstine heifer named Lotty.

Only July 27th Grace and Van Cleve and Francis and I went to Pelhan Bay. It was a fine cool day and we [[strikethrough]] waited [[/strikethrough]] ^[[staied there]] on a stony beech almost two hours and found
