Mr. Bradley is going to plow the two fields west of the orchards and the field on top of the hill [[strikethrough]] above [[/strikethrough]] this side of the woods.  We have cut down all the brush in the fields and burnt them over.

We have pruned the apple trees in both orchards and the field by the blacksmith shop and most of those around the house.

We have sent for sample copies of The Farm Journal and American Agriculturist also for a catalogue of the "Farmers Handy Wagon" of which Mr Bradley told us, and expects to order one soon.
