doesn't call it anything serious. But it doesn't seem to me as though she was as strong as when she first went up there but her deafness makes it more trying. When your letter came Saturday morning I was there and read it to her and Sunday I spoke about it and read it to her again as she had forgotten about it. I just called up (Monday morning 10 o'clock) and they said she was a little better but hadn't gotten up yet. I told her yesterday I would write to you as she realized that she probably wouldn't be able to do it.

Suppose you were out riding with the family yesterday. My magnolia tree is about to open - came ahead fast yesterday and showed the color.

Thin Ma will come along all right and don't worry as I will let you know if she doesn't. As Grandma Blake used to say, "No news is good news."
